Incorporated in 1857, the Public Works Department has grown dramatically in the services provided to the residents of Holmdel. We strive to properly maintain the Township properties and public roadways in an effort to help ensure the safety and well-being of our community and neighbors.

2022 ROADWAY PROGRAM

Throughout the year, the Department of Public Works and Engineering collect data used to develop a list of roadways to be considered for inclusion in the capital program. Through a detailed analysis of the roadways, a road program is designed in order to improve and maximize the life of as many roads as possible within the budget allocated.  

Below is the listing of roadways included in the Township’s 2022 Road Improvement Program. The listing is not in any particular order of construction. A contract was awarded to P&A Construction for this project. Affected residents will be contacted prior to construction with any special instructions. Access will be maintained for residents, school buses, trash/recycling pickup and emergency vehicles.
